Luego de separarse su banda “Golosina” en 2003, recibirse de abogada y convertirse en madre, Julieta Salas comenzó a grabar en su habitación, mezclando todos los sonidos captados desde que era niña. Así nace “Pálida en enero” un disco de canciones con vista al mar, que remiten indudablemente a su ciudad, Necochea. Desde allí se han continuado las presentaciones en vivo, casi siempre acompañada por Héctor Hospitaleche en guitarra eléctrica, y conformando una banda junto a Matías Salvai (bajo) y Natalia Gago (batería). Actualmente, luego de compartir una nueva gira junto a Rosario Bléfari e Isaac Astier, se encuentra abocada a la terminación de su nueva obra, de inminente salida
